WandaVision Episode 8 Release Date, Watch Online & Recap – Info

As we head into the final episode of WandaVision, we finally have an enemy in the mix. In episode 7, we saw the episode’s setting change to the mid to late 2000s.

WandaVision has taken on a kind of Modern Family format where characters speak to the camera on specific occasions. It’s even noticeable because the opening sounds pretty much like an Office intro recalling how the show was based solely on Wanda while Vision was just an afterthought. This article will cover WandaVision’s Episode 7 Recap and Episode 8 Preview.

WandaVision Episode 7 Recap

Now transitioning to the 2000s, we see Wanda decide to staycation after the events that happened last time. But something strange seems to be happening because different parts of his house keep changing to alternate timelines, and he can’t control it. So, Agnes comes to help Wanda promises to babysit Tommy and Billy for the day. Meanwhile, Vision finally wakes up to find out that a SWORD agent has turned into a member of a circus group, among whom is Darcy. Vision releases him from his spell as the two of them return to the city, where Darcy explains to Vision the events that led to the current situation.

Vision and Darcy

While outside Westview, Monica and Jimmy meet with loyal SWORD personnel. They gave them a vehicle that should be able to get past the barrier. But when her plans lead to failure, Monica takes over to reenter the Hex. As she passed through the static, she heard voices from her past but ended up appearing on the other side with higher vision. So Monica puts Wanda in to tell her about Hayward and her plans but is interrupted by Agnes. She took Wanda to her home, where Wanda found her children missing, so she looked for them. He found a strange lair in the dungeon, where he found a book placed, possibly the Darkhold.

Just then, Agnes walked in, revealing that she too was the magic user, Agatha Harkness. Then it was revealed to us how Agatha influenced the events that happened at Westview because she was the one responsible for Pietro’s arrival and Sparky’s death as well.

During the ad, we saw an antidepressant called Nexus. This is a reference to Nexus creatures like Wanda himself.

Monica Rambeau, the new Super Hero?

In the comics, Monica Rambeau also became Captain Marvel. And in this episode, when he meets Hex, he’s called Captain, in reference to his role as Captain Marvel. As he appears on the other side of Hex, he lands on three feet, which is the stereotypical way of going superhero entry. This is supported by his high eyesight and blue eyes. And when he met Wanda, he was carried away by her, but energy surged through him as he landed safely. With all this, we can assume that from the comics, Monica ends up becoming a superhero, Photon or Spectrum.

Agatha Harkness

Now, as we move into the final two episodes of the mini-series, we have a major enemy. Previously, we knew there was someone who influenced Wanda, but now it’s officially confirmed as Agatha Harkness. However, although we would like to believe that, it doesn’t seem so. There are short clips showing how Agatha influenced certain events throughout the series. But it still doesn’t answer how and why Wanda created this Hex and trapped so many people in it. Our guess is that there is a big enemy, it could be Marvel Universe Mephisto or Nightmare.
