“WandaVision” Episode 7: The Easter Egg ‘Breaks the Fourth Wall’

Subtle Reference To The Greatest Avengers Villains

Let’s start with the repeated Easter egg. You must have seen how Wanda always has a bowl of cereal for breakfast called “Sugar Snaps”. This is definitely a subtle yet hilarious reference to the Avengers’ greatest villain: Thanos. The Mad Titan sacrificed Wanda everything she loved (Vision). Thanos is dedicated to achieving the schizophrenic goal of “building balance in the universe”. He wanted to erase half of the life in the universe using the Infinity Stone with just a snap of his finger.

Nexus Commercial

The advertisements in “WandaVision” have always been critical because they were mostly concentrated on Wanda’s previous trauma experiences. However, the advertisement in the latest episode is very important because it leads directly to something called the “Nexus”. Consequently, it allows an individual to tether themselves to create their own reality. However, there are certain side effects such as actually feeling your emotions, gripping your destiny, affirming your truth, and possibly even getting more depressed. In short, this is a direct quote from the Nexus of All Realities. This is an established part of Marvel Lore already mentioned in “Thor: The Dark World”.

Mysterious Message in the Theme Song

Opening title of 7th The episode shows that Wanda’s world is collapsing. In fact, it collapsed to the point where she was completely selfish with “Vision” added almost as an afterthought. Moreover, the name of the radio station he listened to a few minutes later became known as “WNDA”. However, upon taking a closer look at the intro, you’ll even notice a hint of the presence of another shadow manipulating life at Westview. One of the messages read, “I know what you are doing Wanda”. By the time we reached the end of the episode, it was pretty clear who left the message.

Agatha Harkness (Wanda’s enemy) enters the MCU

There has been a great deal of speculation about Kathryn Hahn’s character for some time. But finally his character was revealed when he played the character Agnes in the latest episode of “WandaVision”. Agnes is the magician of Agatha Harkness, a gray character from Marvel Comics. He utilized magic for his purposes and had been Wanda’s enemy and ally before. This speculation was officially confirmed when Agatha introduced herself as the main villain of WandaVision. He is the one who deliberately interferes with Westview’s reality. Apart from that, he is also the one who killed Wanda’s dog, Sparky. Putting all this aside, the important catch is that Agatha’s power manifested itself in purple whereas Wanda took on red.

A Post Credit scene that is sure to catch your eye

Episode 7 of “WandaVision” which is ‘Breaking the Fourth Wall’ ends with a post-credits scene. It seems that Monica has fallen under the influence of Agatha Harkness. She meets Quicksilver, who is Agatha’s pawn but soon Monica’s eyes glow purple. However, the post-credits scene is also important as it shows that “WandaVision” is now done with a sitcom approach and a hunch toward the classic MCU storytelling phase.
