The Woman In The Window will be released globally May 14, 2021, via Netflix. This OTT giant announced it acquired the distribution rights for the film on August 3, 2020. Initially this film chose to release October 4, 2019 by 20th Century Fox. But, Walt Disney Pictures got into the frame. They edited the snippets a bit after the test screenings. This resulted in movie delays.
Woman In The Window experiencing delays is once again a victim of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The May 2020 release was removed from the calendar by 20th Century Fox. After a number of delays and ongoing cinema struggles, Netflix is starting to play. They have spoken with 20th Century Studios for the film’s distribution rights resulting in an official statement for release. As mentioned above, The Woman In The Window is the last film from the Fox label 2000.The label officially closed on August 4, 2020 following the Walt Disney Acquisition and therefore disbanded and discontinued.

Plot – The Woman At The Window
The Official Synopsis of The Woman In The Window talks about the story of Dr. Anna Fox. A woman suffering from agoraphobia after a recent car accident. Separated from her husband and their nine-year-old daughter, she spends her days drinking alcohol, playing chess, talking to her therapist, and communicating with people on the “Agora online forum”.
Apart from her daily activities, Anna also keeps an eye on her newly moved neighbor, The Russells. Until one day he saw something unusual at Russell’s place. He saw someone stabbed. The cast of The Woman In The Window featured a number of well-known names. Starting with Amy Adams (Arrival) who leads as Dr. Anna Fox, a 39 year old suffering from Agoraphobia. Anthony Mackie (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) joins as Edward “Ed” Fox, Anna’s husband, and Mariah Bozeman as Olivia Fox, Anna, and Ed’s daughter. Also joining the cast are a number of names who play as the neighboring Russell Family. They include Fred Hechinger (News Of The World) as Ethan Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight) as Jane Russell, and Gary Oldman (Darkest Hour) as Alistair Russell.
