Here, we are going to talk about everything there is to know about The Penthouse Season 2: War In Life Episode 9. This is a popular South Korean suspense drama created by Choi Young-Hoon. The series is broadcast on the South Korean television network SBS TV every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. KST. Kim Soon-ok wrote original stories and screenplays for both seasons. Season 1 premiered on October 26, 2020 and ended with the 21st episode on January 5, 2021. The show received critical acclaim and high viewership ratings for the first season. After more than a month ending the first season, SBS TV premiered the second season of the series on February 19, 2021. However, unlike the first season, Penthouse 2 will air 13 episodes and will end on April 2, 2021.
This series tells the story of schemes, betrayal, betrayal, and revenge between rich families who live in a luxury commercial-housing complex, Hera Palace. Hostility between the older generations overtook their late teens because they followed their parents’ paths, good and bad. They attend a prestigious school called Cheong-ah Art School. The first season of the drama mainly revolves around two women, Shim Su-Ryeon and Oh Yoon-Hee, each having a hard time in their own life.
While Shim Su-Ryeon is a rich and elegant woman, Oh Yoon-Hee comes from a humble background and is a single mother. In addition, Shim Su-Ryeon has a tragic past and has to deal with her cheating husband and lover. Meanwhile, Oh Yoon-Hee is a famous soprano singer but has to work hard and do as much work as possible to support her daughter, Bae Ro-Na, who is an exemplary student at Cheong-ah Art School. The second season of the drama continues to follow their life filled with drama and also includes Yoon-Hee’s revenge on her daughter’s killer and Shim Su-Ryeon’s secret past and the mystery behind her possible death.

Season 2 Episode 8 Recap:
The episode starts with Na Ae-Yeong arriving at Hera Palace. He meets Yoon-Hee, making Yoon-Hee very surprised because of her resemblance to Su-Ryeon. Meanwhile, Seok-Hoon still suspects Ha Eun-Byeol and tries to find out his involvement with Bae Ro-Na’s death. However, Ha Eun-Byeol didn’t remember anything that happened during the Cheong-ah Art Festival, where Bae Ro-Na was attacked. Besides, Ha Yoon-Cheol seemed too guilty to stay by Yoon-Hee’s side after the things he did to protect Ha Eun-Byeol.
Besides, Seo-Jin feels betrayed after she sees Dan-Tae pretending to know nothing about her ghost singer. However, the fact is that Dan-Tae knows that it is Yoon-Hee. Then, Seo-Jin decides that she wants to make peace with Yoon-Cheol and breaks up with Dan-Tae. Also, Logan had a hard time trying to find out Na Ae-Yeong and why she came back with Dan-Tae.

The Penthouse Season 2: War In Life Episode 9 will be released 19 March 2021. You can watch The Penthouse Season 2: War In Life on Viki. The official website streamed the English subtitles the same day the episode was released. Episode 9 will mostly focus on Cheon Seo-Jin and his fight against Ju Dan-Tae.
In the upcoming episode, we will see Cheon Seo-Jin disappointed and depressed after finding out Ju Dan-Tae’s true color. We can expect him to enlist the help of his step sister and stepmother to escape his clutches. Apart from that, we will also see him sacrifice his pride to stop his daughter, Ha Eun-Byeol from going to prison. However, we already knew in the previous episode that it was actually Ju Dan-Tae who killed Bae Ro-Na and also eliminated the evidence.
Also, chances are that Seo-Jin will find out in episode 9 that Dan-Tae is the real killer. He would fight it head on to save Ha Eun-Byeol. Seo-Jin has to ask her ex-husband to take Eun-Byeol somewhere far from home. However, Dan-Tae was very cunning and always seemed to be one step ahead of Seo-Jin. So, regardless of her efforts, she will fight with her ex-husband to stop Eun-Byeol from leaving.
Meanwhile, we will also see Oh Yoon-Hee telling the twins the truth about their biological mother and that Shim Su-Ryeon was killed by their father. However, Seok-Yung will be angry at Yoon-Hee because he believes Yoon-Hee is Su-Ryeon’s killer. Luckily, Seok-Hoon seemed to trust Yoon-Hee and took her side. She will also tell her everything she suspected about her father.
Lastly, at the end of the promo, we see Logan Lee confronting Na Ae-Yeong about his real identity and that he knows that “it was him”. This promo also hints at Logan and Su-Ryeon’s past relationship which was never mentioned in season one.
