In 2005, Nancy Hollander, played by Jodie Foste decided to help Salahi. He decided to force the government to put Salahi under just a few charges or crimes that he might commit. Well, the federal government over the years has placed a number of people inside Guantanamo Bay without charge or crime at all. Salahi is the most famous case so far. The only reason he reached that level was the phone call he received from Bin Laden’s phone. That’s enough to accuse him of recruiting people and flying planes at the World Trade Center.

Over the years, the government managed to hold Salahi under Guantanamo Bay for years. Now with Nancy Hollander pushing the case forward, they must find charges, crimes or reasons they can file against Salahi’s arrest. The case grew with Nancy Hollander joining her partner Teri Duncan played by Shailene Woodley who worked to uncover more about Salahi and the place of Guantanamo Bay.
