The reason behind Konohamaru’s greatest admiration is the way Naruto looks at him. For the first time they met, Naruto didn’t even know that Konohamaru was the honorable grandson of the Third Hokage. He treats her just like Konohamaru. Nothing more, nothing less. This was enough for Konohamaru, who was always looked up to and treated like he was something big from others. If you may remember, between the gap between Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden, Naruto went on a journey with Jiraiya. Between that time, other ninja from Sakura to Chōji, everyone went on to take the Chūnin exams. Konohamaru disguises himself as Naruto so that his friend doesn’t lose his chance just because he’s out of town. However, Shikamaru stopped him from doing that.
After two years, Naruto and Konohamaru joined the Chūnin. Naruto, on the other hand, is much stronger than Konohamaru. Naruto has mastered Sage Mode, and Konohmaru is a little capable of giving Naruto a punch. The change came when it was announced that such transformations were banned from the Chūnin, resulting in Naruto facing disqualification. Thus, Konohamaru became the winner.

Konohmaru is still that cute guy, but he takes his class more seriously. In fact, he became the top genin for his class. Plus the de-facto leader of the group. He continued his progress. Until now in Boruto, he was clearly a respected Jonin who taught and mentored Boruto and his friends.
He May Also Know Sage Mode

Difference Rasengan From Konohamaru and Naruto
Considered one of the A-Rank techniques created by the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze. Very few ninjas can use this technique. Naruto was taught this technique by Jiraiya. Immediately, Naruto passed the technique on to Konohamaru. Just like Naruto, Konohamaru also struggled at first when it came to handling it. In fact, he relied on his shadow clones to develop them at an early stage.
Minato always described the Rasengan as a technique that needed to be worked out. Naruto Uzumaki worked on this technique for life and eventually created the Rasenshuriken. He added the Wind nature to Chakra to do so. On the other hand, Konohamaru, who was also taught basic techniques by Naruto, continued to develop techniques that gave him a taste of his own. Unique Wind Release: Rasengan. Well, they did look similar in nature, but Konohamaru’s Rasengan dealt a bigger punch than Naruto.
Where are His Parents?
At first, we weren’t introduced to Konohamaru’s parents at all. Many think they died when he was a child. Thus, guiding him to always be alone or around the Third Hokage. Why the information was kept secret for such a long time is still a big question, but where the parents will be revealed at a later date. It is revealed that Konohamaru was raised by both of his parents, and they are the most prominent members of the Konoha Anbu.
The Sarutobi clan is one of the most skilled ninja clans. So, it is evident that his parents were probably one of the very skilled ones. Konohamaru is the newest member in the family line who is highly skilled.
His Name Likeness
The creator of the Naruto franchise, Masashi Kishimoto, always names their characters based on their legends or traits. The case is not the same as the name Konohamaru. Konohamaru was named by his grandfather, the Third Hokage Sarutobi Hiruzen. The Third Hokage views his village as the most beloved and wants his grandson’s name to reflect that love. Thus, Konohamaru was named after the village of Konohagakure.
If we look deeper into the meaning of the name Konohmaru, “Konoha” means leaf, and “Maru” means perfect. Of course, this village is often referred to as the Hidden Leaf Village. So, the Third Hokage saw the village as a perfect village which was reflected in the name Konohamaru.
