The Tomorrow War is ready to be released on 2 July 2021. Originally, it was supposed to make a big theatrical premiere but as of now, the film will be available to stream on Amazon Prime around the world.

Initially, the film was to be released by Paramount Pictures. But, in 2021, Amazon acquired distribution rights for a reported $200 million. Therefore, the film is under Amazon Prime.

It has changed its release date twice. It was previously scheduled to premiere on December 25, 2020. However, due to COVID-19, they were unable to undergo the release. Next, scheduled for 23 July 2021, replacing Mission Impossible7. Once again changes were made, and now, the film will finally be released on July 2. Be sure to mark the date on your calendar.

The film was shot in Lincolnton, Georgia, Atlanta, and Iceland. It began filming on September 1, 2019, and finished on January 12, 2020.
