The 2021 Crime Comedy film, Cruella, is based on the crime from the 1956 novel The Hundred One Dalmatians. The novel was also adapted into a Walt Disney film in 1961. Cruella was directed by Gillespie. Tony McNamara and Dana Fox handled the screenplay, and the story was written by Aline McKenna, Kelly Marcel, and Steve Zissis. This film is the 3rd film in the 101 Dalmations Franchise and is basically a prequel. Emma Stone plays Cruella de Vil. The film is set in 1970s London, with the full Punk Rock Movement. Estella Mill is the protagonist, a rising fashion designer. This is the story of how she became the famous but famous designer, Cruella de Vil. This film is presented to show what was the catalyst that turned Estella into Cruella.
The film was announced back in 2013 by Disney. Emma Stone was chosen for the role 3 years later. Glenn Close, the original Cruella de Vil in the live-action films 101 Dalmations and 102 Dalmations (1996, 2000), and Emma Stone are executive producers. The shooting took place in the UK between August and November 2019. The film premiered in Los Angeles on May 18, 2021. It was the first red carpet film release since the Corona Pandemic. To take revenge, she adopts the name Cruella permanently. He helps his friends escape from prison. He thus became the heir to all his fortune, acquired the last name “De Vil” and accepted Hellman Hall, renaming it Hell Hall.
Then, after the film ends, Cruella gives the two Dalmation Puppies, the Dalmatians Baroness children to her friend Anita (Kirby Howell-Baptiste) – who has helped her gain publicity – and Roger, her husband. Roger (Kayvan Novak) thus begins writing the song “Cruella de Vil.” The puppies were apparently named Pongo and Perdita.
