Chicago Med Season 6 Episode 6 Recap
Chicago Med Season 6 Episode 6 titled “Don’t Want To Face This Now” plays a different scenario than usual. Usually we look at situations where each character deals with the situation around their parents. But this episode is different from them in that we see that doctors themselves are not prepared to deal with certain situations around their own children. Charles discovers a big secret about his daughter Anna while she is pregnant. The one he chose not to share with his mother because he was only 15 years old, he was even forbidden from dating his mother. Pregnancy is far from what is acceptable.
Meanwhile, Dr. Marcel and Dr. Manning is on his own to treat undiagnosed patients with cancerous tumors. When a patient loses hope in life, Marcel decides to personally try to bring positivity and hope to his patient. On the other hand, Maggie starts to get scared because she can’t find a kidney transplant for her adopted son. This episode looks more at the life of a doctor and how they themselves are not immune to pain and hopelessness. And how they should do their best to keep smiling to help their patients recover.
